Cricket Wireless Launches New Service - Wireless Broadband

Cricket announced that it is now bringing unlimited wireless broadband services to Advance Wireless Markets across the country. Cricket Communications, Inc, is a subsidiary of Leap Wireless International, and debuted its UTStarcom UM100C tri-band USB modem. The modem was debuted in Tulsa, OK, and provides high speed wireless connectivity in a wide area. This will enable Cricket customers to be able to use their laptop or their PC wherever they'd like to, within the existing Cricket Broadband markets. The area will also include any new AWS markets that are offering Cricket Wireless Internet Services.

The tri-band USB modem appeals to many different customers for a few reasons. It is compatible with home PCs and also with laptop computers. This means that people can use the Cricket Internet service whether they are at home or on the go, as long as they are within the broadband covered area. It works great for customers who would like to have the same internet that they can know and trust whether they are at home on their computers, or at work with their laptops.
